Using several medium to express his artwork, Frank gravitated to replicating sports and music genera in the form of portraits, album covers, stage performances and athletic scenes.Living a normal and sometimes hectic life of raising kids, working and paying bills, Frank found little time to pursue his passion for the arts. Occasionally playing harmonica in bars with friends was a respite, but there always seemed to be something missing. In 2001, he got together with Linda who encouraged him to pick up the pen again. She also taught him how to play the guitar which unlocked another world of creativity.

Linda grew up in Wyckoff New Jersey. At a young age she gravitated to music, learning to play the piano and participating in the school band. Later, her passion led her to accomplishing master’s piano at a relatively young age. Linda worked in the family business, married and soon put her desire for music on hold. The ups and downs of life seemed to always be running interference. She found solace in photography, mostly black & white at first, capturing candid moments of her family and friends. She then tried her hand at playing the guitar which rekindled that spark of creativity and led to singing and song writing.

Linda and Frank moved to the Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Park, upstate New York. The town has a “small town” feel to it and is a haven for art and music, proving to be a perfect fit. Linda picked up her camera again and embraced the picturesque surrounding that the High Peaks have to offer. Frank also being inspired by the beauty the area provided, began using watercolor as a preferred medium. Combining pen and ink with watercolor led to the creation of his character ‘Chris Moose’. We formed Leftfield Graphics and are excited to offer our artwork to you. We hope that through us, you will share in the experience of Saranac Lake and Adirondack Park.
